Take Ownership of Major Construction Projects Join a Contractor with a Strong Backlog and Growth Plans About Our Client A respected commercial construction contractor with a growing presence across the South Job Description The Traveling Superintendent will report to Operations Leadership and be responsible for driving successful project execution in the field while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule expectations are met. Manage all onsite construction activities from mobilization through closeout Develop and maintain short-term and long-term project schedules Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and daily site logistics Lead project safety initiatives and enforce company safety standards Monitor workmanship to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and quality requirements Partner with Project Managers to address project risks and maintain progress Travel throughout Arkansas to support current and future project assignments MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant For the Traveling Superintendent we are seeking: 7+ years of commercial construction experience, including Superintendent responsibilities Experience delivering ground-up and renovation projects Background in healthcare, education, commercial, retail, industrial, or manufacturing construction preferred Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and site logistics Ability to lead multiple trades and maintain productive jobsite relationships Knowledge of construction safety regulations and quality control processes Proficiency with construction technology and scheduling software Willingness to travel extensively throughout Arkansas What's on Offer Competitive base salary: $110,000 - $160,000 Company vehicle or vehicle allowance Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits Travel expenses and project-related accommodations covered Bonus potential based on project and company performance Long-term career advancement opportunities Strong pipeline of commercial construction projects
