Warehouse SpecialistPRG has partnered with a growing telecommunications service company to hire a Warehouse Specialist in Statesville, NC. This is a hands-on warehouse position supporting the receiving, organization, inventory, and shipment of cable and related materials.

What You'll DoReceive incoming cable products, reels, materials, and shipments and verify quantities and conditionLoad, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipmentPick, pack, stage, label, and prepare materials for shipmentScan and track inventory using warehouse management or inventory systemsOrganize cable reels, wire products, accessories, and other warehouse materialsPerform cycle counts and assist with physical inventoryInspect materials for damage, defects, or discrepanciesMaintain accurate shipping and receiving documentationFollow warehouse and material-handling safety proceduresKeep the warehouse clean, organized, and operating efficientlyWork with supervisors and team members to meet shipping deadlines and customer requirements
What We're Looking ForPrevious warehouse experience is requiredHigh school diploma or GEDForklift experience preferred; certification is a plus, but willingness to obtain certification is acceptableBasic computer skills and experience with inventory or warehouse softwareAbility to read shipping documents, packing lists, and product labelsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsReliable attendance and a strong work ethicAbility to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred ExperienceExperience with any of the following is a plus:Cable or wire productsTelecommunications materialsFiber or electrical componentsManufacturing or industrial materialsShipping and receivingInventory controlBarcode scanningWMS or ERP systems
Physical RequirementsAbility to regularly lift and move up to 50 poundsAbility to stand, walk, xzbcwsv bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periodsAbility to safely handle heavy cable reels and related materialsComfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
ScheduleThis position will work one of the following schedule:7:00 AM – 4:00 PMOvertime, weekends, or schedule flexibility may occasionally be required based on business needs.
