Pay Rate: $30–$55 per flagged hour ( Flat Rate)
Pay Schedule: Twice Monthly (5th & 20th)

If you enjoy tracking down electrical and drivability problems, you’ll have the equipment and shop support to focus on that work here. This independent shop is looking for an experienced Diagnostic Automotive Technician who can also handle major repairs and help developing technicians grow.

About the Shop

The heated and air-conditioned shop has 5 bays and 5 lifts and works on Domestic, Asian, and European vehicles. Technicians typically flag approximately 40 hours per week. You’ll have Autel and Snap-on diagnostic equipment, along with support from a General Manager, Service Advisor, and Quality Technician.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose electrical, drivability, and complex mechanical concerns
• Perform major repairs, including engine and transmission replacements, timing chains, and head gaskets
• Complete digital vehicle inspections and document findings, labor times, and parts needs
• Mentor developing technicians

What We’re Looking For

• At least 5 years of professional automotive repair experience
• Strong diagnostic, electrical, and drivability skills
• Experience with major repairs and an interest in mentoring other technicians
• Residence within 30 miles of the shop

ASE certifications, previous Lead or Diagnostic Technician experience, and Tekmetric or digital vehicle inspection experience are preferred. DVI training is available.
