Role Description This is a full-time, on-site (work from home) Professional Video Editor role based in Hisar. The Professional Video Editor will be responsible for editing raw video footage into clear, engaging content that supports the organization's educational, training, and outreach goals. Daily responsibilities include organizing and assembling video clips, applying transitions, sound, and visual effects, and ensuring consistent color grading and branding across all projects. The role involves collaborating with program, research, and communications teams to translate complex agricultural and human development concepts into accessible video formats such as tutorials, documentaries, interviews, and promotional pieces. The Professional Video Editor will also support pre-production planning, maintain an organized media library, and ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines. Qualifications
Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, including assembling footage, trimming clips, and creating coherent narratives. Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency, clarity, and a professional look across all video content. Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, infographics, and visual aids that enhance understanding. Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Da Vinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro) and basic audio editing tools. Ability to work on-site in Hisar, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail. Strong visual storytelling skills and an understanding of how to communicate technical or educational content effectively to diverse audiences. Good collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams, accept feedback, and refine content accordingly. Relevant academic background in Film, Media, Communication, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Familiarity or interest in agriculture, rural development, or social impact communication is an advantage.
