Job SummaryWe're hiring a Senior Environmental Engineer in the Corpus Christi metropolitan area, with fully onsite work at our Sinton, Texas facility. This full-time role focuses primarily on TCEQ air compliance reporting and the day-to-day coordination that helps a manufacturing operation meet its environmental obligations.
You'll bring the experience to manage the reporting process independently, work directly with plant departments, and follow through on equipment and compliance issues. Air reporting is the immediate priority, with opportunities to broaden your involvement across water compliance as the team develops shared responsibilities.
What You'll Do• Own TCEQ air compliance data and reporting, applying established requirements and completing submissions according to the applicable reporting schedule.• Partner with plant departments to verify that equipment is maintained, reporting is completed correctly, and environmental requirements are understood in daily operations.• Follow up on equipment and compliance issues, working with the responsible teams to ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken.• Collaborate with the environmental team across air and water responsibilities, supporting cross-training while maintaining ownership of your primary air compliance work.
What You'll Bring• Environmental Engineering degree or a closely related degree is required; equivalent experience does not replace the degree requirement.• At least five years of relevant experience, including a minimum of two years completing TCEQ air compliance data and reporting.• Strong understanding of TCEQ reporting requirements and the ability to own the process independently without extensive technical training.• Experience in a plant or production environment with comparable air emissions and regulatory reporting. Refinery, chemical manufacturing, and other manufacturing backgrounds can translate well.• Ability to communicate effectively with plant departments, coordinate compliance activities, and follow through on corrective actions.• Water compliance reporting and experience with permit renewals or submissions are a plus.• Willingness to work fully onsite and collaborate across both air and water responsibilities as the role develops.
We offer an annual base salary of $80,000-$90,000, eligibility for a performance-based bonus with a 20% target, paid quarterly, and relocation assistance. xzbcwsv If you're ready to take ownership of air compliance and make an impact beyond the reporting deadline, apply today.
