SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (SF EC) Consultant Experience: 2 Years Role: SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Consultant Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Kolkata/Pune/Indore/Ahmedabad Job Summary We are looking for an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) Consultant with around 2 years of hands-on experience in configuration, implementation, enhancement, and production support activities. The candidate should have a good understanding of Core HR processes and practical experience in configuring Employee Central functionalities. Key Responsibilities Configure and support SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central based on business requirements. Understand business requirements and perform fit-gap analysis against standard SF EC functionality. Configure Foundation Objects, MDF Objects, Associations, and Data Models . Configure and maintain Business Rules, Workflows, Event Reasons, and Event Reason Derivations . Work on Role-Based Permissions (RBP), Permission Groups, and Dynamic Groups . Support employee lifecycle processes including: Hire Rehire Transfer Promotion Job/Position changes Termination Work on Position Management and organizational structures. Perform employee data imports, data validation, and error resolution. Support EC integrations with Payroll, HRIS, and third-party systems . Participate in testing activities including Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and regression testing . Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test cases, and user documentation. Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and perform root-cause analysis. Coordinate with business users and other SAP/HR technology teams. Support quarterly SuccessFactors releases and assess the impact of new features. Must-Have Skills 2 years of hands-on experience in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central. Strong understanding of Core HR / Hire-to-Retire processes . Hands-on experience in: Employee Central Data Models Foundation Objects MDF Objects Associations Business Rules Workflows Event Reasons Role-Based Permissions (RBP) Employee Data Imports Good understanding of Position Management . Basic understanding of EC integrations with Payroll/HRIS or third-party systems. Good knowledge of XML and SuccessFactors configuration. Experience in incident resolution and application support. Good communication and stakeholder-management skills. Good to Have Experience in Time Off / Time Tracking . Exposure to SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding . Knowledge of Integration Center, OData APIs, or SAP Integration Suite . Experience in at least one end-to-end SF EC implementation . SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central certification preferred. Exposure to additional SuccessFactors modules such as Recruiting, Performance & Goals, or Compensation. Candidate Profile Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Good client-facing and communication skills. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into SF EC solutions. Willingness to learn new SuccessFactors features and functionalities.
