About the role In this genuinely exciting role, you’ll be the sole owner of the day-to-day People function for 50+ global team — people operations, payroll, recruitment, and employee support — working directly with the founders. You’ll inherit a well-documented foundation: a global HRIS (Rippling), a documented payroll and compliance calendar with per-country runbooks, and established external providers and advisors. What you’ll do People operations: own onboarding and offboarding end-to-end (contracts, right-to-work, systems access, final pay, benefits administration including US open enrollment and leave, records, and verification letters). Team Engagement: find creative and exciting ways to connect our globally distributed team. Recruitment: run the full lifecycle — job ads, sourcing, LinkedIn applicant review, screening, interview coordination, ATS data integrity, references, and offers. Employee relations support performance conversations, exits, and separation agreement negotiations across jurisdictions with maturity and discretion, escalating to external counsel where needed. Compliance in a global setup: execute statutory obligations per jurisdiction to hard deadlines. Founder support: people reporting, headcount and cost data, and quarterly board input preparation. What you’ll bring Minimum of 3+ years in a HR Generalist role. HRIS you document as you go and know when to pull in external experts. Comfort working across time zones with a globally distributed team.
