<p><strong> Position Summary: </strong></p><p> Narayan Powertech Private Limited – Standex Electronics GRID at Luna, Padra Road, Vadodara is looking for Production Manager who will be responsible for managing the complete manufacturing operations of the organization, ensuring safe, efficient, cost-effective, and quality-driven production while consistently meeting customer delivery commitments. This role assumes end-to-end ownership of the production function, overseeing all manufacturing activities from production planning through finished goods dispatch readiness while ensuring seamless coordination across all operational processes. </p><p> The position is accountable for optimizing productivity, improving operational efficiency, maintaining product quality, developing manufacturing capabilities, and ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards. It requires effective coordination of manpower, machinery, materials, methods, and manufacturing resources to achieve business objectives. </p><p></p><p> Working closely with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, Stores, Maintenance, Human Resources, Finance, Sales, Projects, and EHS, the Production Manager ensures smooth cross-functional collaboration, timely resolution of operational challenges, and alignment between production activities and organizational goals. </p><p> The role is also responsible for developing high-performing production teams through structured training, performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, operational discipline, and customer focus. </p><p> Additionally, the Production Manager drives manufacturing excellence through process optimization, Lean Manufacturing initiatives, cost reduction programs, productivity improvements, capacity enhancement, and data-driven decision-making to support sustainable business growth and operational performance. </p><p></p><p><strong> Key Responsibilities </strong></p><p></p><p><strong> Production Leadership &amp; Manufacturing Operations </strong></p><ul><li> Manage the overall manufacturing operations and ensure achievement of production targets. </li><li> Develop production strategies aligned with organizational goals and daily/weekly and monthly targets. </li><li> Drive manufacturing excellence across all production departments. </li><li> Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and manufacturing capacity. </li><li> Maintain smooth production flow while minimizing downtime and production losses. </li><li> Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production performance. </li><li> Ensure adherence to production schedules and customer delivery commitments. </li><li> Drive manufacturing efficiency through operational discipline. </li><li> Establish production priorities based on business requirements. </li><li> Ensure uninterrupted production while maintaining quality and safety standards. </li></ul><p></p><p><strong> Production Planning &amp; Execution </strong></p><ul><li> Execute production plans in alignment with Sales Forecasts and PPC schedules. </li><li> Monitor production loading and capacity utilization. </li><li> Ensure material availability before production commencement. </li><li> Optimize manufacturing cycle time. </li><li> Reduce bottlenecks across manufacturing processes. </li><li> Monitor production progress against planned schedules. </li><li> Ensure timely completion of customer orders. </li><li> Coordinate production priorities with Planning and Customer Service teams. </li><li> Maintain production dashboards and daily production reports. </li></ul><p><strong> People Leadership &amp; Team Development </strong></p><ul><li> Lead, mentor, motivate, and develop production supervisors, engineers, line leaders, and operators. </li><li> Build a high-performance manufacturing culture. </li><li> Develop succession plans for key production positions. </li><li> Conduct regular performance reviews. </li><li> Foster teamwork, ownership, and accountability. </li><li> Identify skill gaps and develop structured training programs. </li><li> Promote employee engagement and continuous learning. </li><li> Drive discipline and adherence to company policies. </li><li> Encourage innovation and employee-driven improvements. </li></ul><p></p><p><strong> Training &amp; Competency Development </strong></p><ul><li> Develop structured onboarding and technical training programs. </li><li> Create competency matrices for production personnel. </li><li> Ensure all employees are trained on SOPs, work instructions, and safety procedures. </li><li> Conduct periodic skill assessments. </li><li> Promote multi-skilling and workforce flexibility. </li><li> Maintain production training records. </li><li> Develop future production leaders through coaching and mentoring. </li></ul><p></p><p><strong> Manufacturing Process Management </strong></p><ul><li> Standardize manufacturing processes across all production lines. </li><li> Ensure adherence to approved manufacturing procedures. </li><li> Improve manufacturing workflow and process capability. </li><li> Reduce process variation through standardization. </li><li> Support implementation of automation and digital manufacturing initiatives. </li><li> Monitor manufacturing process capability and efficiency. </li><li> Ensure product traceability throughout production. </li><li> Work closely with all business functions (Cross Functions) to ensure routine process and organizational success. </li></ul><p></p><p><strong> Qualifications &amp; Experience Education </strong></p><ul><li> Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline. </li></ul><p></p><p><strong> Experience </strong></p><ul><li>10–12** years of progressive experience in energy or transformer manufacturing operations. </li><li> Minimum 5 years in a Production Manager or Manufacturing Manager role. </li><li> Experience managing medium to large manufacturing plants. </li><li> Strong exposure to Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and Operational Excellence. </li><li> Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent. </li><li> Proven experience managing large production teams. </li><li> Strong understanding of manufacturing planning, scheduling, and capacity management. </li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b> Standex International </b> <b> Corporation </b> is a diversified global manufacturing company operating in six segments which consists of our Electronics, Engraving, Engineering Technologies, Scientific, Federal Industries, and Custom Hoists divisions.
