Job Description
Bangalore International School is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Elementary School Homeroom Teacher to join our team.
Location: Bangalore
Grades: G3–G5
Employment Type: Full-time | Permanent
Joining: Immediate / October 2026 at the latest
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- Minimum 3 years of elementary teaching experience , preferably with Grades 3–5.
- Experience with or knowledge of the Cambridge and/or IB curriculum .
- Strong conceptual and teaching skills in English and Social Studies .
- Experience with inquiry-based and/or concept-based learning .
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
- A learner-centred approach that encourages students to ask questions, make connections, explore ideas, investigate and construct their own understanding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in an inquiry-driven or concept-based learning environment will be an added advantage.
