Role Description The Parts Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Jenison, MI. This position is responsible for assisting customers in person and by phone/web/text/etc: identifying correct parts, providing accurate pricing, and ensuring orders are processed promptly. Daily tasks include using inventory systems to check stock availability, communicating with customers and maintaining up-to-date product knowledge on recycled original equipment. The role also involves resolving customer inquiries, handling returns or exchanges, and following up on orders to support a positive customer experience. The Parts Sales Representative contributes to sales goals by recommending suitable parts and services while maintaining a professional and helpful demeanor.QualificationsCustomer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to support positive interactions and repeat business.Sales skills to identify customer needs, recommend appropriate parts, and close orders effectively.Strong Communication skills for clear, professional interaction with customers, team members, and vendors.Basic automotive knowledge or experience in auto parts sales is required.Ability to use point-of-sale and inventory management systems; comfort with basic computer applications.Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment.Prior experience in automotive or parts sales is preferred.BenefitsFREE health insurance for you, small cost to add family membersHSA Matching.
