Investment Banking Healthcare AssociateLocation: New York, NYThe team focuses on all major sub-verticals in healthcare, most prominently Life Sciences, but can also include biotechnology, specialty pharmaceuticals, and medical devices, with expertise in public capital market financing, private financings, M&A advisory, and restructuring.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage client relationshipsAdvanced financial modelingPerform client due diligenceTake an active role in developing, structuring, and executing transactionsPerform valuation analysisPrepare client presentations and deliverablesManage and develop junior talent within the groupBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree PLUS minimum 3 years of experience in an investment banking analyst position or prior experience as an investment banking associate; ORMBA or equivalent graduate degree in a financial disciplineCurrent or recent experience in an investment banking role or equivalent positionCurrent or recent healthcare industry experiencePreferred QualificationsOutstanding academic record xzbcwsv Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong analytical orientation, with experience performing financial and valuation analysis in Excel or comparable spreadsheet toolsDemonstrable commitment to and experience with working in teamsDemonstrated interest in finance and financial marketsDemonstrated interest in healthcare / medical field through professional and/or academic experienceSeries 63 and 79 certified
