Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a strategic Settlements Transformation Program within a leading global financial institution. The role will support the delivery of the target-state operating model and technology roadmap for Settlements, driving large-scale transformation initiatives across global markets operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project governance, stakeholder engagement, planning, execution, risk management, and delivery across complex change programs.
Key Responsibilitie
s Program & Project Managemen
t Lead and coordinate settlement transformation initiatives from inception through implementation . Ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, timelines, and quality standards . Manage project plans, dependencies, milestones, and critical deliverables. Stakeholder Managemen
t Partner with senior business leaders, technology teams, operations stakeholders, and external vendors . Build strong relationships with executive-level stakeholders and provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and outcomes. Risk, Governance & Control
s Proactively identify, assess, escalate, and mitigate project risks and issues . Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards . Maintain project governance forums and support decision-making processes. Financial & Resource Managemen
t Manage project budgets, forecasts, and variance reporting . Conduct resource planning and capacity management to ensure optimal allocation across initiatives . Develop business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and ROI assessments for strategic investments. Change & Transformation Deliver
y Drive transformation initiatives across Operations and Technology teams . Support migration planning, implementation, testing, go-live execution, and post-implementation stabilization . Develop and maintain detailed migration runbooks and contingency plans. Reporting & Documentatio
n Prepare project status reports, executive presentations, and progress dashboards . Maintain project documentation, JIRA boards, Confluence pages, meeting minutes, and governance artifacts . Provide concise communication tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Skills & Experien
ce Essenti
al Minimu m 3+ years of Project Management experien ce within an Investment Bank, Capital Markets, or Financial Services environmen t. Experience managin g large-scale transformation or change progra ms in Global Markets, Operations, or Settlement s. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies includin g Agile, Waterfall, PMI, or Princ e 2. Demonstrated experience managin g: Project budgets and financia ls Resource planning and capacity manageme nt Project risks, issues, and dependenci es Stakeholder communication and governan ce Strong understanding of operational risk, governance, and regulatory requirements within financial service s.
