Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Trained Graduate Teacher OR Primary Teacher in English (TGT or PRT) to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting the academic growth of students of primary grades for PRT and middle school for TGT.

Responsibilities

1. Instruction and Curriculum Development:

 Design, plan, and deliver engaging lessons in (Specify Science Subjects, e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Biology).

 Develop and implement lesson plans and instructional materials that align with curriculum standards and educational goals.

 Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and other evaluation methods.

2. Classroom Management:

 Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.

 Implement effective classroom management strategies to address behavioural issues and promote student engagement.

3. Assessment & Reporting:

 Regularly assess and track students' academic performance and behavioural development.

 Prepare and conduct tests, quizzes, assignments, and projects.

 Provide feedback to students and maintain accurate records of their progress.

 Communicate with parents about their child's academic performance and behaviour through meetings, reports, or parent-teacher conferences.

4. Student Support:

 Provide individual and group support to students to help them achieve their academic goals.

 Offer guidance and mentorship to students on academic and career matters.

5. Collaboration:

 Work closely with other teachers and staff to integrate science education with other subjects.

 Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and school events.

6. Record Keeping:

 Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance.

 Prepare and submit reports on student performance and academic progress as required.

7. Parent and Community Engagement:

 Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, behaviour, and any concerns.

 Engage with the community to promote science education and support school initiatives.

8. Extracurricular Engagement:

 Participate in and support extracurricular activities such as sports, cultural events, and school celebrations.

 Encourage students' involvement in after-school clubs or programs.

9. Health & Safety:

 Ensure the classroom is a safe, clean, and well-maintained learning environment.

 Be vigilant about students' well-being, following school policies regarding safety, health, and first aid

Qualifications

 PG in Education , B. Ed. with 3 years of teaching experience preferred.

 Knowledge of relevant educational curricula and teaching methodologies.

 Strong classroom management skills.

 Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

 Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.

 Strong organizational and time-management skills.

 Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching children.
