Role Description The Psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and ongoing care to participants enrolled in clinical trials, with a focus on mental health and related therapeutic areas. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting diagnostic assessments, documenting detailed clinical histories, developing and monitoring treatment plans in accordance with study protocols, and performing standardized rating scales and outcome measures. The role includes close collaboration with the investigator team, research coordinators, and sponsors to ensure protocol compliance, participant safety, and high-quality data collection. The Psychiatrist will review and interpret clinical data, support feasibility and site qualification activities, and participate in team meetings and regulatory documentation as needed. This is a contract, hybrid role based in the Greater Tampa Bay Area, with on-site responsibilities at the Tampa clinic and some work-from-home activities such as documentation, telehealth visits (when applicable), and remote sponsor communications.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong skills in Psychiatry and Psychiatric Care, including diagnosis and management of a range of mental health conditions.Candidates should possess skills in Medicine and Mental Health to integrate clinical care with research protocols and ensure holistic participant support.Candidates should possess skills in Adolescent Psychiatry or experience working with younger populations, where applicable to trial requirements.Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in Florida and board certification or board eligibility in Psychiatry.Prior experience in clinical research or interest in clinical trials, including familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and ethical guidelines.Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, with strong communication and documentation skills in a diverse, bilingual environment.Comfort with electronic medical records, research data systems, and hybrid work practices (on-site and remote). xzbcwsv Fluency in Spanish is beneficial but not required; experience with diverse patient populations is strongly valued.
