Role Description The Future Life Advisor at LIC will work on-site in Davangere in a full-time capacity, guiding individuals and families in selecting suitable life insurance and financial protection plans. On a day-to-day basis, the role involves meeting prospective and existing customers, understanding their financial goals, explaining LIC products and policies, and recommending appropriate solutions. The Future Life Advisor will handle policy servicing, support customers with documentation and claims-related queries, and maintain accurate records of interactions and sales activities. The role includes building and expanding a client base, participating in local marketing and awareness initiatives, and collaborating with the recruitment manager and branch team to meet business targets. Advisors are expected to continuously update their knowledge of insurance products, regulations, and market trends to provide reliable, informed advice. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong knowledge or interest in Insurance , with the ability to understand and explain life insurance products and benefits. Candidates should possess skills in Finance , including basic financial planning, understanding of savings and protection needs, and comfort with numerical data. Candidates should possess Consulting abilities to assess customer requirements, provide tailored recommendations, and support long-term financial decision-making. Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, focusing on responsiveness, empathy, and maintaining positive, trust-based relationships. Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms. Additional beneficial qualifications include sales or field experience, knowledge of the local market in Davangere, and familiarity with basic computer and mobile applications. A minimum educational background of a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, business, or related fields is an advantage.
