Controller (Chicago)

A 200 person professional services firm is searching for a Controller. In this role, you will partner directly with Firm leadership to drive strategy, modernize operations, and build a high-performing team in a collaborative, growth-focused environment. This role will manage a team of ten and handle all accounting and finance work for the firm. Executive Impact: Serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team influencing strategic decisions that drive the Firm's long-term success. Lead Meaningful Transformation: Take ownership of modernizing the finance and accounting function by implementing best practices, strengthening internal controls, and enhancing financial reporting and operational efficiency. Drive Business Performance: Deliver actionable financial insights, forecasting, and profitability analysis that support growth initiatives, strategic investments, and informed decision-making. Develop and Inspire Talent: Build, mentor, and empower a collaborative finance team while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and exceptional client service.
