Medical Towers - Employee Occupational Health Services (EOHS)

Business Need

The EOHS Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for team members, candidates, volunteers, and visitors. This role is responsible for creating a positive customer experience while supporting daily front-office operations. Duties include greeting patients, determining and distributing required paperwork, preparing charts for clinical staff, checking in appointments, managing incoming calls, and directing inquiries to the appropriate team members or departments.

Top Responsibilities
  • Welcome and check in patients, candidates, and team members
  • Gather required documentation and prepare charts for clinical staff
  • Prepare charts and forms for upcoming appointments
  • Manage and route incoming phone calls across multiple lines
  • Take messages, transfer calls, and place callers on hold appropriately
  • Maintain office organization, stock forms and documents, and manage office filing/disc space
  • Update and maintain department calendars
  • Support daily administrative and customer service needs of the EOHS team

Team Interactions

This position partners closely with several departments, including:

  • Absence Management supporting team member return-to-work processes
  • Workers' Compensation assisting with employee injury-related care coordination
  • Human Resources supporting new hire onboarding, compliance, and employee health needs
  • Volunteer Services assisting with volunteer onboarding and compliance requirements

The receptionist may routinely receive and direct calls from all of these departments.

PURPOSE

EOHS supports new hire onboarding, employee health, workplace safety, and return-to-work processes. The receptionist contributes to these critical functions by helping ensure team members and candidates receive timely, professional service and care.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 03 years of experience required; previous experience in an office setting preferred.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel preferred.
