Responsibilities

• Provide unit-based leadership working collaboratively with the Nurse Manager, Director, physicians, and staff
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel using professional and supervisory discretion
• Apply independent judgment to ensure safe, cost-effective, evidence-based patient care
• Promote positive patient outcomes and high patient satisfaction while maintaining patient safety
• Assess and take steps to improve quality of the patient experience on the unit

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in California
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in an inpatient setting
• Ability to supervise nursing and ancillary staff on a unit and coordinate care delivery
• Strong collaboration with physicians, staff, and multidisciplinary teams
