Step up to Winn. </li></ul> Civilian Physician (Family Medicine) <ul> <li> This is a Direct Hire Solicitation </li> <li> Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required for federal civilian healthcare providers as they are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. 1346(b)) while acting within the scope of their employment. </li></ul><p> Salary: Up to-$335,000 per year </p><p> Benefits: </p><p> Winn Army Community Hospital is a military treatment facility located at Fort Stewart, Georgia, that was established in 1983 and named after Brigadier General Dean Flewellyn Winn, Sr. It serves active-duty soldiers, family members, retirees, and veterans in the coastal Georgia region. </p> Responsibilities <p> As a Family Medicine Physician, you will: </p><ul> <li> Provide comprehensive outpatient care to beneficiaries ranging from newborn to geriatric age presenting with complex and interdependent acute and chronic conditions. </li> <li> Provide pre- and post-deployment health assessments and preventive health assessments (PHA). </li> <li> Manage medical conditions pertaining to the Personnel Reliability Program (PRP), security clearances, overseas clearances, pre-confinement evaluations, line of duty (LOD) investigations, and occupational and fitness for duty medical evaluations. </li> <li> Perform ambulatory surgical procedures and outpatient procedures. </li> <li> Order and interpret diagnostic and testing procedures including laboratory and radiological examinations. </li> <li> Advise other physicians, non-physician providers, and nursing and para-professional staff on the care of patients with urgent, emergent, and non-urgent medical problems. </li> <li> Provide clinical and administrative leadership to the Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) team. </li></ul> Qualifications <p> US Citizenship is required </p><p> Board certification is required in almost all cases </p><p> Active, unencumbered medical license is required </p>
