EEG - Technician

Position: EEG Technician Institution: Navodaya Medical College Hospital and Research Centre(NMCH&RC) Department: Neurology / Neurodiagnostics Location: Raichur Karnataka Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled and responsible EEG Technician to perform electroencephalogram (EEG) procedures, ensuring accurate data acquisition and proper patient care. The technician will work closely with neurologists and other healthcare professionals to support the diagnosis and monitoring of neurological conditions. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and specialized EEG procedures as advised by the neurologist. Prepare patients and ensure correct electrode placement. Operate EEG equipment and ensure accurate, high-quality recordings. Monitor patients during procedures and document observations. Maintain EEG equipment and follow infection-control and safety protocols. Coordinate with neurologists and the clinical team. Qualification Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in EEG Technology, Neurophysiology Technology, or a relevant allied health field. Relevant EEG certification/training preferred. Experience 1–3 years of relevant experience is preferred. Freshers with relevant qualifications may also be considered. Skills Good knowledge of EEG procedures and electrode placement. Good communication and patient-handling skills. Attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues.
