Role Description The Litigation Counsel is a full-time, on-site role based in Mesa, AZ. This role is responsible for managing the Firm’s Arizona litigation caseload and related staff, providing pre-suit collection legal support to in-house collection professionals, litigating claims through judgment, including mechanic’s lien foreclosures, prosecuting post-judgment remedy claims, negotiating settlements, drafting waivers/releases and settlement agreements, and assisting with regulatory compliance of the Firm’s legal and collection activity.
QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and Active Arizona Bar Admission – In Good StandingStrong foundation in Law and Legal Issues, including creditor rights, civil procedure, and debt collection regulations.Experience appearing in Courts for hearings, trials, and other litigation proceedings.1–3+ years of litigation experience, preferably in creditor rights, collections, or related practice areas.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong drafting ability and attention to detail.Ability to manage a high-volume caseload, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to ethical practice, client service, and compliance with federal and state regulations. xzbcwsv Proficiency with legal research tools and case management software; familiarity with technology-driven workflows is a plus.
