POSITION OVERVIEW

As our platform ecosystem continues to evolve, quality engineering is becoming a strategic differentiator. We are investing heavily in automation, developer enablement, AI-assisted quality engineering, CI/CD modernization, observability, and shift-left engineering practices to help teams move faster with confidence.TECHNICAL LEADERSHIP
* Design and evolve automation frameworks for:- Web applications
- APIs (REST and GraphQL)
- Integration and event-driven workflows
- Mobile web platforms
- Build and improve automated regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end
- Implement quality gates, reporting, and release validation processes
- Partner with Platform and DevOps teams to improve test environments,
- Help modernize legacy automation frameworks and improve test reliability
- Drive AI innovation within Quality Engineering by identifying opportunities
SHIFT-LEFT QUALITY ENGINEERING
* Partner with Engineering and Product leaders to embed quality earlier in the development lifecycle * Help developers adopt unit, API, integration, and automation testing best practices- Drive developer-owned quality and self-service testing capabilities
- Establish scalable testing standards, reusable tooling, and automation
TEAM LEADERSHIP & COLLABORATION
- Lead and mentor QA engineers while remaining hands-on technically
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, DevOps, Release
YOU HAVE
* 10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Software Testing, or Test Automation- 4+ years of QA leadership or management experience
- Strong hands-on automation engineering experience
- Experience building and scaling automation frameworks
- Playwright
- Experience testing APIs, integrations, and distributed systems
- Strong coding or scripting skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or
- Experience integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of shift-left testing practices and modern SDLC
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with mobile web testing and BrowserStack
- Experience with Maestro or Detox for mobile automation
- Experience with Cypress
- Experience with Appium
- Experience with Postman/Newman
- Experience with contract testing and service virtualization
- Experience with observability platforms such as Datadog
- Experience with visual regression testing
- Experience in payroll, fintech, ERP, or regulated environments
- Experience testing OCR or document processing workflows

Compensation range for candidates in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. The compensation range for this position is: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year.Details
