Job Title: Cath Lab Holding Registered Nurse

Location: Chesapeake, VA

Setting: Hospital

Pay Range: 2429.60 - 2551.08

Schedule: 07:00 - 17:00

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: BLS; ACLS required via American Heart Association; Must be EPIC proficient - NO EXCEPTIONS; Must have at least 2 years nursing experience in Critical Care, Emergency Services, Cardiac Cath Lab, Pre-Post Care Unit or in the area of Cardiac Rehab preferred; Compact or VA license in hand - no exceptions; Qualivis Submission Form required on all submissions; All RTO must be included on cover sheet; Current NURSYS report required

Responsibilities:

• Provide pre- and post-recovery care for patients undergoing minimally invasive cardiac procedures, including coronary angioplasty, stents, IABP, Impella, electrophysiology studies, and EP device implants.
• Monitor and manage patients with associated medications and drips within a cardiac setting.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and optimal recovery.
• Maintain proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Adhere to all hospital policies and safety protocols during patient care.
