Business development executive - life sciences

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Manager (Life Sciences) to drive new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and manage the sales lifecycle from prospecting to closure while collaborating with internal teams to deliver client-focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, prospecting, client meetings, solution discussions, proposal management, negotiations, and deal closure. Identify, evaluate, and prioritize prospective customer segments and business opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate business solutions. Collaborate with internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop customized solutions and Statements of Work (SOWs). Execute customer outreach initiatives through cold calling, email campaigns, and social media engagement. Design and implement account growth strategies to drive sustainable and profitable business. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful client onboarding and long-term relationship management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Client Relationship Management in Life Sciences. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Strong proposal writing and proposal management experience. Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong business acumen with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
