About the Role

Swami Vivekanand Subharti University invites applications from accomplished academic and administrative professionals for the position of Registrar . The Registrar will play a key leadership role in ensuring effective university administration, academic coordination, regulatory compliance and smooth functioning of institutional processes.

Eligibility & Experience

• Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• The candidate must possess high integrity, character and dignity .

Candidates should fulfil one of the following experience profiles :

• At least 15 years of teaching experience as Assistant Professor or above , along with experience in educational administration; OR
• Comparable experience in a research establishment and/or other institution of higher education; OR
• 15 years of administrative experience , including at least 8 years as Deputy Registrar or in an equivalent post .

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and administrative leadership for the effective functioning of the University.
• Coordinate and oversee major administrative and academic processes across the University.
• Ensure compliance with applicable statutory, regulatory and University policies.
• Facilitate coordination between the University administration, academic departments and statutory bodies.
• Maintain and strengthen institutional records, documentation and governance processes.
• Support the implementation of decisions of the competent authorities and statutory bodies.
• Contribute to institutional development, academic administration and quality enhancement initiatives.
• Ensure transparency, efficiency, discipline and accountability in administrative operations.
• Represent the University in official and statutory matters as assigned.
