Frontend 3D Engineer

The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with Three.js, React Three Fiber, Drei, and Next.js , with a focus on interactive 3D visualization, real-time rendering, and performance optimization.

You will work closely with backend and product teams to translate complex data and workflows into interactive, responsive, and visually accurate 3D experiences .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop interactive 3D visualization experiences for web applications.
• Build and maintain 3D interfaces using Three.js, React Three Fiber, and Drei .
• Develop frontend applications using Next.js 14 and React .
• Implement interactive mesh manipulation , including selection, transformation, highlighting, and user interactions.
• Develop real-time visualization logic for products
• Integrate 3D visualization components with backend APIs and application workflows .
• Work with 3D assets, scene management, lighting, cameras, materials, and rendering pipelines.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks related to WebGL, rendering, memory usage, and complex 3D scenes .
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product teams to deliver reliable 3D features.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of professional software development experience, with strong frontend/3D development experience.
• 3+ years of experience with WebGL and hands‑on experience with Three.js and React Three Fiber .
• 3+ years of experience with React.js and 2+ years of experience with Next.js , preferably Next.js 14.
• Good understanding of 3D concepts , including geometry, meshes, materials, cameras, lighting, animations, and rendering.
• Experience with Drei and modern React Three Fiber development practices.
• Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with real‑time visualization or 3D applications is a plus.
• Experience integrating frontend 3D applications with backend APIs is a plus.
