Our client is building a next-generation cybersecurity platform. At its core is a hard, applied-research problem.
Seed Funded ($11M) from Tier-1 Security VCs. This is a chance to join very early stage to have meaningful impact on the product & business.
As a Principal Data Scientist, you will directly own the research agenda and hands-on execution: designing algorithms, building the core statistical and probabilistic models behind the platform, and directly driving the company's intellectual property.
This is a senior individual contributor (IC) role for a practitioner who thrives at the intersection of deep applied research, advanced mathematical modeling, and production-grade engineering. You will work directly with founders and platform engineers to turn complex, open-ended research problems into robust software.
We're looking for someone that has strong statistical depth - ideally a PhD or MSc in a quantitive field. Hands-on experience with discovery, taxonomy, modelling, applied LLM engineering and production ML system experience.
