Our client, a famous fashion brand based in NYC, is looking for a Temporary Pattern & Print Designer to join their team.

ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute seasonal prints, stripes, plaids, and patterns for the Men's Holiday collection.Recolor and color existing prints and patterns to align with seasonal color palettes and design direction.Create and manipulate original artwork, repeat patterns, and colorways using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.Prepare accurate, production-ready artwork and detailed factory packages within PLM systems.Collaborate closely with the Men's Design team to ensure prints and patterns align with the overall seasonal aesthetic.Translate design concepts and inspiration into technically accurate, production-ready files.Maintain organized artwork files, color references, and design documentation throughout the development process.Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight seasonal development deadlines.
QualificationsPrevious experience in print, textile, or surface pattern design within the fashion/apparel industry.Strong experience developing stripes, plaids, prints, and repeat patterns, including recoloring and color development.Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop is required.Hands-on experience with PLM systems and preparing factory-ready packages is required.Strong understanding of color, scale, repeat layouts, and print production techniques.Experience designing for menswear is strongly preferred.Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven design environment.Prior experience supporting seasonal collections for an established apparel brand is a plus.
