Job Role

We are looking for a proactive Service Coordinator to manage the day-to-day coordination of marine service jobs from enquiry through completion. The successful candidate will play a key role in planning jobs, coordinating engineers, communicating with customers and vendors, preparing quotations, managing documentation, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently

The role offers exposure to a wide variety of marine services and requires someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate service jobs from enquiry through completion and invoicing
  • Prepare quotations, service proposals, work orders, and customer documentation
  • Schedule service engineers and coordinate travel, accommodation, and logistics
  • Liaise with customers, vessels, ship managers, agents, class surveyors, and subcontractors throughout each project
  • Coordinate spare parts, materials, and subcontractor requirements to ensure timely project execution
  • Prepare service documentation, reports, certificates, and job files
  • Monitor project progress and ensure service milestones are achieved within agreed timelines
  • Support Accounts with invoicing, documentation, and customer payment follow-up
  • Maintain accurate records within the company ERP and service management systems
  • Track recurring services, statutory inspections, and customer due dates
  • Follow up on quotations, customer approvals, and outstanding service opportunities
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer service


Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Marine Studies, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in operations, service coordination, logistics, project coordination, including Lifeboats & Rescue Boats (LSA), Fire Fighting Equipment (FFE), Navigation & Communication systems, Ship Repair, Underwater Services & Maintenance, UTM, Tank Inspections, Various testing and analysis and other technical marine solutions
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in the maritime, shipping, logistics, engineering, or technical services industry will be an advantage
