Overnight Tow Dispatch Coordinator

Position Summary:The Tow Dispatch Coordinator will play a key role in coordinating daily operations by managing incoming calls, scheduling and assigning drivers, monitoring jobs in progress, communicating with customers and drivers, and ensuring efficient workflow throughout the day. The successful candidate must be highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable working with technology and multiple software systems.

Responsibilities:Coordinate and dispatch drivers, tow operators, or trucking personnel efficiently and effectivelyMonitor active jobs and deliveries while ensuring schedules are metCommunicate clearly with drivers, customers, and internal team members regarding job status and updatesPrioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentTrack vehicle locations, route progress, and operational updates through dispatch software and GPS systemsInput, update, and maintain accurate records within company systemsHandle incoming calls, emails, and customer requests professionallyResolve scheduling conflicts and respond quickly to changing prioritiesMaintain strong attention to detail while ensuring timely completion of assignmentsAssist with operational coordination and support additional administrative tasks as neededIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency and contribute ideas to streamline operations
Requirements:Prior experience or foundational knowledge in the trucking, towing, logistics, transportation, or dispatch industry preferred, not requiredStrong computer proficiency and confidence using multiple applications and systems simultaneouslyTech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new software and technologiesExperience with dispatch platforms, GPS tracking systems, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM systems, or transportation software is a plusExcellent xzbcwsv multitasking and organizational skillsStrong ability to prioritize responsibilities and remain calm under pressureExceptional communication and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated, ambitious, and eager to grow professionallyPositive attitude with a strong work ethicAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and sense of urgencyMust be available to work a rotating schedule of four (4) consecutive days on followed by four (4) consecutive days off.
