The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity to join our International Tax & Transaction Services (ITTS) practice as a Manager. The role focuses on Transaction Tax Advisory (M&A), helping clients understand and address the tax implications of strategically important transactions such as acquisitions, disposals, refinancing, restructurings, or initial public offerings. You will advise on regional and international tax implications and compliance with relevant tax codes and jurisdictions.

Your key responsibilities

• Assist with the successful delivery of technically complex and demanding international and transaction tax engagements, ensuring technical and practical excellence to maximize client service quality.
• Manage leads and opportunities from other areas of the tax practice and the wider EY network.
• Contribute to practice development through internal training, precedent development, knowledge sharing, team and firm events, internal and external presentations, and authoring expert articles for publications.

• Strong technical knowledge and subject‑matter expertise on international tax topics and a keen understanding of applicable tax laws and codes.

Qualifications & Experience

• A relevant bachelor’s degree in Tax, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related area or a completed professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, CPA, ATT, ADIT or equivalent.
• Six or more years of relevant, client‑facing tax advisory experience.
• Strong managerial, organizational, project‑management, analytical and verbal/written communication skills.
• Experience managing a team and/or mentoring and developing junior team members.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Broad exposure to transaction tax or international taxation with a focus on inbound and outbound investments.
• Advanced knowledge or specialization in a particular area of international tax.
• Experience with KSA tax regulations.
