Doctor – Officer Blood Transfusion Officer

• To involve in the developing policies and Standards
• Role in service enhancements and quality improvement
• To set the standard for and ensuring a high level of donor care
• Assures quality services to all the donors and greet them well.
• Perform routine donor evaluation & monitoring including physical examination.
• Provide consultation to blood bank technical & clerical personnel concerning donor selection & acceptability.
• Evaluate & manage blood donor reactions.
• Ensure that the SOPs is followed at all step.
• Ensure that all work is done according to required standards.
• Ensure universal precautions should be used consistently by all the staff of blood bank.
• Prepare and help in conduction of fresher and regular training programs.
