What You'll DoAdminister, maintain, and optimize enterprise PostgreSQL databasesSupport Oracle-to-PostgreSQL and cloud migration initiativesMonitor database performance, availability, and securityTroubleshoot and tune complex database environmentsManage backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutionsCollaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and application teamsHelp establish best practices, automation, and monitoring capabilities as the PostgreSQL footprint continues to grow
What We're Looking ForStrong, recent hands-on PostgreSQL DBA experience in production environmentsExperience with installation, configuration, upgrades, performance tuning, and maintenanceProven migration experience, ideally Oracle-to-PostgreSQLExperience supporting PostgreSQL in cloud environments, preferably AzureStrong troubleshooting skills across database, Linux, storage, and application layersAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical teamsExcellent communication and documentation skills
Compensation & BenefitsThe anticipated salary range for this position is $110,000 to $130,000 annually. This range reflects the base salary for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location.
