The anesthesia department operates under a fully autonomous CRNA practice model within a structured on-site clinical environment.

The region spans a range of landscapes, from mountain terrain and wild rivers to natural hot springs and colorful desert canyons. The area is home to historic communities with a long tradition of artistic and cultural heritage, as well as significant Indigenous history including sites that have been continuously inhabited for over 1,000 years. Clinicians on assignment will find a breadth of outdoor and cultural pursuits, including ancient cliff dwellings, scenic hiking trails, and renowned museums and art galleries.

Clinicians in this role will provide autonomous anesthesia services during day shifts, with call coverage required. The surgical case mix includes Endoscopy, OB, GYN, General Surgery, Orthopedics, and Acute Pain Management, offering clinical variety across multiple surgical service lines. Clinicians will typically work alongside two other CRNAs, managing anesthesia care across the perioperative continuum with a high degree of clinical independence.
