We’re Hiring | Senior Engineer – IP Support Systems

IP Support / Network Systems professional with strong expertise in Cisco ISE, AAA, DHCP, Linux, VMware/KVM and automation.

We are looking for a Senior Engineer – IP Support Systems to drive the planning, engineering, automation, scalability and reliability of critical IP support platforms supporting LTE/4G, 5G, Wi-Fi and FTTH services .

Location: Navi Mumbai, NHQ

Qualification: BE / B.Tech

Key Responsibilities

1. Understanding of IP support Systems (DHCP, ISE, IPAM, MS AD, SSH, FTP, Syslog management system) applications architecture for wireless (LTE 4G, 5G, WiFi-APs) and wireline (FTTH, UBR based Airfiber) services.
2. Develop requirement document for new products and services in IP Support systems and applications.
3. Develop solution design for high reliability and scalability.
4. Develop IP Support systems test plan and conduct test for validation with QA team in LAB.
5. Standardisation of config management, audit and compliance for all IP support system
6. Security assessment, hardening of operating systems and applications and compliance as per security certifications.
7. Understanding of OSS tools / EMS/NMS (HPOM, HPOO, Zabbix, Granite, MyCOM, JAMS etc.).
8. Capacity planning and upgrade as per NPE guidelines.
9. Understanding of soft application and automations for intersystem communication using API and CLI commands.
10. Understanding of new requirements and drive vendors for development of new features and reliability of platforms.
11. Adherence to standard operating Processes to achieve higher efficiency and compliance
12. Develop IP support Systems platforms planning and Engineering guidelines for operations
13. Coordination and working with cross-functional team, vendors and customers

Key Deliverables

1. System & Network Management: Proficient in managing core systems, protocols, and technologies, including network management, authentication, IP address management, in both wireless and wired networks.
2. Requirements & Documentation: Skilled in gathering technical requirements and producing clear, comprehensive documentation for new systems and services.
3. Solution Design & Scalability: Expertise in designing scalable, high-performance systems for growth and reliability, with strong documentation skills (e.g., solution documents, MOPs).
4. Testing & Quality Assurance: Experience in developing and executing test plans, collaborating with QA teams to validate system functionality, and ensuring optimal performance.
5. Security & Compliance: Knowledge of standardizing configurations, implementing security best practices, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and certifications.
6. Automation & Cross-functional Collaboration: Proficient in automating processes through APIs, integrating OSS systems for fault, performance, backup/restore, and configuration management, while effectively coordinating with vendors and internal teams for seamless project execution.
7. Operational Coordination & Change Management: Skilled in coordinating operational activities, assessing the impact of changes on live systems, and ensuring changes are validated and deployed in production through a defined process of Service Requests (SR) and Change Requests (CR).
