The CompanyMistev EHC is a company managed by veterinarians with vast experience in the industry as regulators and on certification.Due to business growth, the company is looking for prospective candidates to work as Export Official Veterinarians in different locations in Great Britain.Mistev EHC has a unique culture focused on the individuals, encouraged to take responsibility for their decisions, with a great level of management support.LocationAlthough the advertised role is for Glasgow, we are looking for Export Official Veterinarians nationally (England, Scotland, Wales).The RoleThe main purpose of this job is to provide veterinary certification of exports and support attestations of Products of Animal Origin (POAO) to EU and Non-EU Countries.ResponsibilitiesAcquainting with EHC requirements (Export Health Certification) and NFG (Notes for Guidance) for each export (for both EU and non-EU countries) in advance and keeping updated with new requirements and/or changes.Attending export locations (slaughterhouses, cutting plants, cold stores; meat and meat products establishments, retailers) to carry out export certification on-site to the highest standard.Accomplishing the best service on the market in accordance with the 10 Principles of Certification (RCVS).Keeping in touch with the exporter for the eventual required amendments.Building rapport with customers and their representatives.Skills/Qualifications RequiredVeterinary medicine degree.Full membership of The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons or ability to obtain it.Ideally, hold the OCQ(V) - EX (Exports General) and OCQ(V) - PX (Product Exports) qualifications.
