Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage the company's day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, bookkeeping, and financial reporting while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and bookkeeping.
• Record and reconcile all bank transactions.
• Prepare and process vendor payments and employee reimbursements.
• Generate sales and purchase invoices.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare GST returns, TDS deductions, and other statutory compliances.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and banks when required.
• Prepare MIS reports and financial statements for management.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Handle payroll support and salary processing, if required.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance .
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
• M.Com or relevant accounting certification will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate

• 4–7 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Experience in real estate, construction, or event management industry is preferred.
• Immediate joiner will be preferred.
