Job DescriptionJob DescriptionHead Chef / Kitchen ManagerEstablished Restaurant – Fox Valley AreaAn established, busy restaurant and bar in the Fox Valley area is looking for a hands-on Head Chef to own the kitchen and lead our team.What you’ll do•      Run all back-of-house operations, from prep through close•      Build and manage the kitchen schedule•      Handle food ordering, vendor relationships, inventory, and food cost control•      Hire, train, and lead kitchen staff•      Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and inspection-ready•      Work with ownership on menu updates and specialsWhat we’re looking for•      3+ years of kitchen leadership experience (sous chef, kitchen manager, or head cook)•      Strong casual dining line skills: you can cook, not just manage•      Experience with ordering, inventory, and scheduling•      Food Service Sanitation Manager certification (or ability to obtain)•      Reliable, organized, and calm under a Friday-night rushWhat we offer•      Salary: $60,000–$70,000•      Quarterly bonus tied to food cost, labor, and inspection targets you control•      Stable, independent business where your input mattersTo applySend your resume and a short note about your experience.
