The Head of Department (HOD) is responsible for providing strategic academic and administrative leadership to the department, ensuring excellence in teaching, research, innovation, student development, and institutional growth. The HOD will oversee curriculum planning, faculty development, accreditation activities, research initiatives, industry collaborations, and departmental operations while fostering a culture of academic excellence and continuous improvement. The role requires effective leadership to achieve the University's vision, maintain compliance with statutory and regulatory bodies, and enhance student outcomes through quality education, research, and stakeholder engagement.

Job Title: Head of Department (HOD) – Biotechnology

Qualification Ph. D. in Biotechnology or a relevant specialization. Master's degree with an excellent academic record. Minimum 15 years of teaching/research experience, including leadership experience. Strong publication record in Scopus/Web of Science-indexed journals. Experience in securing funded research projects is preferred.

Job Title: Head of Department (HOD) – Commerce (B. Com)

Qualification Ph. D. in Commerce/Management/Finance or a related discipline. Minimum 15 years of academic experience with administrative leadership. Strong research publications and academic contributions.

Job Title: Head of Department (HOD) – MBA

Qualification Ph. D. in Management/Business Administration or a related discipline. MBA with an excellent academic record. Minimum 15 years of teaching/research experience, including administrative leadership. Strong publication record and experience in industry collaboration.

Job Title: Head of Department (HOD) – MCA

Qualification Ph. D. in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, or a related discipline. MCA/M. Tech with an excellent academic record. Minimum 15 years of teaching/research experience, including administrative leadership. Strong publication and research record.

Job Title: Head of Department (HOD) – BA IAS Academy

Job Summary

The Head of BA – IAS Academy will lead the integrated Civil Services preparation program by combining academic excellence with competitive examination coaching.

Key Responsibilities Lead curriculum planning integrating BA programs with UPSC/Civil Services preparation. Develop academic schedules and examination strategies. Mentor students for UPSC, APPSC, TSPSC, SSC, Banking, and other competitive examinations. Coordinate with subject experts and guest faculty. Organize mock interviews, test series, and current affairs sessions. Build collaborations with reputed coaching institutions and government organizations. Monitor student performance and improve success rates. Recruit and mentor faculty specializing in humanities and competitive exams.

Qualification Ph. D. in Political Science, Public Administration, History, Economics, Sociology, English, or a relevant discipline. Minimum 15 years of teaching experience. Experience in Civil Services coaching or academic leadership is highly desirable.

Job Title: Head of Department (HOD) – Law

Job Summary

The Head of the Department of Law will provide strategic academic leadership while promoting excellence in legal education, research, advocacy, and industry engagement.

Key Responsibilities Lead all academic and administrative functions of the Law department. Ensure curriculum aligns with Bar Council of India (BCI) regulations. Promote legal research, publications, consultancy, and policy initiatives. Organize moot courts, legal aid camps, seminars, and conferences. Build partnerships with courts, law firms, corporate legal departments, and government organizations. Mentor faculty and students in academic and professional development. Support accreditation, ranking, and quality initiatives.

Qualification Ph. D. in Law. Master's degree (LL. M.) with an excellent academic record. Minimum 15 years of teaching/research experience, including leadership roles. Strong record of publications and legal research.
