We’re looking for an HR Assistant to join our Human Resources team in a union manufacturing environment! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys keeping things running smoothly, supporting employees, and contributing to a positive workplace.What You’ll DoSupport recruiting activities, including posting jobs, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.Coordinate new-hire onboarding, orientation, background checks, drug screens, and pre-employment paperwork.Maintain confidential employee files, HR records, and system updates.Assist employees with routine HR questions and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members.Support benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee documentation.Track attendance, timekeeping, leave documentation, training, and required HR deadlines.Assist with employee relations and union-related administrative activities, including meeting coordination and grievance tracking.Prepare HR reports, update staffing trackers, and support workforce planning and hiring initiatives.Help coordinate employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and other HR projects.What We’re Looking ForPrevious experience in an HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, or administrative support role.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to maintain accurate records.Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion.Strong follow-up skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Manufacturing or union-environment experience is a plus.Why Join Us?Be part of a team where your organizational skills, professionalism, and commitment to employee support make a difference every day!Ready to take the next step in your HR career? xzbcwsv Apply today!
