Key Responsibilities:

• International Strategy & Partnerships for strategic collaboration.
• International University Relations
• Student Exchange & Mobility
• Faculty & Cross-Faculty Exchange
• Cross-Faculty Collaborations
• MoUs & Partnership Development
• Partnership Activation & Outcomes
• Joint Academic & Research Initiatives: Identify and facilitate collaborative courses, joint programmes, conferences, seminars, research projects, publications, curriculum development, knowledge exchange and other academic initiatives with international partners.
• International Delegations & Institutional Visits
• Global Representation & Networks: international conferences, higher-education forums, university networks, consortia and institutional meetings; identify opportunities to strengthen global visibility and international academic standing.
• International Student Engagement: fostering meaningful academic and cultural exchange on campus.
• International Research & Knowledge Exchange
• Governance, Reporting & Planning: Develop systems to track international partnerships, mobility, programmes and outcomes; provide periodic reports and strategic recommendations to University leadership and support annual planning and budgeting for the International Relations function.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A postgraduate degree in International Relations, International Education, Higher Education, Management, Social Sciences or a related discipline; a doctoral degree or equivalent advanced qualification would be an advantage.
• 10-15 years of progressive experience in international relations, international education, higher education, university partnerships, academic collaborations or a comparable institutional environment, including substantial experience in a leadership or senior management capacity.
• Strong understanding of the international higher-education ecosystem, including global university partnerships, student mobility, transnational academic collaboration and emerging models of international education.
