What You'll DoAs a Certified PA, you'll serve as a key clinical provider in LTACH setting, delivering high-quality care to patients while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Your responsibilities include:Performing comprehensive physical exams and reviewing medical historiesOrdering and interpreting diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and imagingDiagnosing and managing acute and chronic medical conditionsPrescribing medications and developing individualized treatment plansCollaborating with physicians, nurses, therapists, and facility staffEducating patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive careDocumenting patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record
Who Should Apply?The ideal candidate should be:Comfortable practicing in a complex inpatient hospital environment.Confident managing medically complex patients with multiple comorbidities.Familiar with ventilators, tracheostomies, respiratory failure, sepsis, and acute inpatient medicine.Comfortable recognizing and managing urgent clinical situations while working collaboratively with specialists.Familiar with electrolyte management, particularly in dialysis patients. xzbcwsv
Qualifications:Current PA (or eligibility to obtain)Current DEA registration or willingness to obtain prior to start dateInterest in geriatrics, internal medicine, family medicine, or post-acute careExcellent communication and teamwork skillsSelf-motivated with a patient-centered approach
