Flowtec Construction is partnering with a $300M general contractor in Downers Grove seeking a Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager who wants to develop their skills, take on greater responsibility and build a clear path into Project Management.
Working across light industrial, commercial interiors and commercial construction, you’ll gain exposure to projects ranging from $3M to $75M, with hands-on training and mentorship from some of the best in the business.
The opportunityYou’ll work closely with experienced Project Managers and Superintendents, developing your understanding of the full construction process—from preconstruction and procurement through delivery and closeout. As your experience grows, you’ll take greater ownership of project responsibilities, with a clear route toward managing your own projects.
What you’ll be doingSupporting project budgeting, scheduling, procurement and cost tracking.Managing RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentation.Coordinating with subcontractors, architects, consultants and field teams.Participating in project meetings and helping keep work moving on schedule.Building the technical knowledge, commercial awareness and leadership skills needed to become a successful Project Manager.
