Senior Accountant @ VC Firm

Coda Search is partnering with a prominent vencture capital group with offices located in Stamford, CT. This is a well-known firm that has a global presence with just under $10BN AUM. The team is seeking to hire a Senior Accountant on the corporate accounting team who will be responsible for managing the month-end close, GL, and assisting the wider team with cash management activities.

Responsibilities:Manage the month-end close overseeing various items on the balance sheet and income statementManage the GL and reconcile any discrepanciesPrepare schedules and oversee various investmentsAssist with budgeting and forecasting for the US operationsPartner with the wider group overseeing various cash management activitiesAssist with the annual audit xzbcwsv preparing any supporting documentation and schedules
Qualifications:Bachelors in Accounting or FinanceStrong Excel skills (vlookups/pivot tables)Strong US GAAP experienceExcellent communication and presentation skillsPrior experience in Financial Services a plus
