Must-Have

12+ years of IT experience 10+ years of experience with IBM Mainframe technologies such as COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2 and VSAM Experience with assessment of mainframe applications and databases to formulate plans for migrating it to cloud. Well versed with different tools and methodologies used to migrate mainframe workloads. Broad understanding and knowledge across multiple technical domains including Front-end Architecture, Services Architecture, Integration/Middleware Architecture, Security Architecture, Data Architecture etc.

Good-to-Have

Experience with Re-Platform Portability Assessment using Rocket Enterprise Analyzer Experience with architecting & delivering end-to-end solutions using Rocket Software (erstwhile known as Micro Focus) Experience in: Microservices, Containerization and APIfication 5+ years of experience with any other RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle or Postgre SQL) Experience in migrating IBM DB2 z OS data to other Relational DB like SQL Server, Oracle or Postgre SQL Broad understanding and knowledge across multiple DB domains including Data Modeling, Data Architecture, Integration/Middleware Architecture, Data Security etc. Knowledge about CDC concepts and experience with CDC implementations
