Job Profile – Dance Teacher | IB School

Position: Dance Teacher Location: Worli, South Mumbai

Experience: Relevant experience in teaching Dance, preferably in an IB/International School

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Dance lessons aligned with IB curriculum and learner-centred approaches. Teach various dance forms, techniques, choreography, movement and performance skills. Encourage creativity, self-expression, collaboration and cultural awareness among students. Prepare students for school performances, productions, showcases and events. Assess and document student progress using appropriate IB assessment practices. Integrate dance with interdisciplinary learning and the IB Learner Profile. Maintain a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment. Collaborate with teachers and participate in school activities, exhibitions and performances.

Qualifications & Skills:

Degree/Diploma in Dance, Performing Arts or a relevant discipline. Strong knowledge of dance techniques and choreography. Excellent communication and classroom-management skills. IB/International School experience preferred; IB training/certification is an advantage.
