About the Position

Our client is seeking a reliable CDL A Hostler for a local yard position in Kansas City, Missouri. This role involves moving trailers within the yard, handling no-touch freight, and returning home daily. The position offers a consistent overnight schedule and the potential to become permanent.

Pay & Schedule

• $26 per hour, plus overtime
• Tuesday through Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
• 40 hours per week
• Full-time, local schedule
• Temp-to-perm opportunity
• On-site position in Kansas City, Missouri

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• Safely move trailers throughout the yard.
• Position trailers accurately for loading, unloading, and staging.
• Perform vehicle and equipment inspections as required.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and DOT regulations.
• Maintain a professional and dependable presence on-site.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
