Freelance Consultant - Project Leader

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to define business challenges, project objectives, and strategic priorities.
• Lead strategy, transformation, cost optimisation, growth, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Conduct market research, benchmarking, financial analysis, and data-driven assessments to develop actionable recommendations.
• Structure complex business problems and lead project workstreams from analysis through implementation planning.
• Develop executive-ready presentations, reports, dashboards, and business cases for senior stakeholders.
• Manage project timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication to ensure timely delivery.
• Facilitate workshops and project review meetings and present findings to senior leadership.
• Support implementation and change management activities.

Location - Delhi/Bangalore

Duration - 6 months (Extendable)

Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Finance, or related discipline; MBA/PGDM preferred.
• 3–7 years of experience in management/strategy consulting, preferably with strong exposure to the energy sector.
• Prior experience in energy, power, renewables, utilities, oil & gas, energy transition, or sustainability is preferred.
• Strong structured problem-solving, analytical, financial analysis, and business case development skills.
• Strong project management, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; experience with data analysis preferred.
