We are HASBRO Clothing Pvt Ltd , the proud owners of the menswear apparel brand BASICS , with 100+ Exclusive Brand Outlets and 900+ Large Format Stores across India.

We are currently looking for a Woven Designer . The work location will be Maduravoyal, Chennai, Tamil Nadu .

The ideal candidate is a creative and trend-driven professional with a strong understanding of men's woven apparel. The candidate should be able to translate market trends into commercially successful collections while collaborating with cross-functional teams from concept to production.

Responsibilities: Research global and domestic fashion trends for men's woven apparel. Design seasonal collections for woven categories including Shirts, Chinos, Casual Trousers, Cargo Pants, Linen Bottoms, Shorts, and Woven Jackets. Develop mood boards, color palettes, fabric stories, and trim concepts. Create technical sketches and detailed tech packs using Adobe Illustrator. Collaborate with merchandising, sourcing, sampling, and production teams throughout the product development process. Review prototypes and provide fit, construction, and styling feedback. Work closely with vendors and factories to ensure design intent is maintained during production. Ensure collections align with the BASICS brand identity, quality standards, and commercial objectives.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design/Apparel Design from NIFT or a reputed fashion institute. 2–5 years of experience as a Woven Designer in menswear apparel. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and In Design . Strong knowledge of woven fabrics, garment construction, pattern development, fits, washes, and trims. Excellent creativity, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple collections and meet seasonal deadlines.
