Role Description This is a contract, remote role for a Book Author with Next Learning Educational Services India LLP. The Book Author will develop clear, accurate, and engaging manuscript content aligned with specified curricula and academic standards. Day-to-day work includes outlining chapters, drafting and revising content, creating examples and exercises, and integrating visual or digital components in collaboration with editors and designers. The author will conduct subject research as needed, incorporate feedback from reviewers, and ensure the content is age-appropriate, inclusive, and pedagogically sound. The role also involves adhering to project timelines, maintaining documentation, and coordinating regularly with the internal content and product teams through virtual meetings. Qualifications
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple, learner-friendly language. Ability to conduct focused research, fact-check content, and align material with curriculum standards or syllabi. Familiarity with digital learning tools, basic document formatting, and collaboration through online platforms and content management tools. Excellent time management, organization, and the ability to meet deadlines while working independently in a remote environment.
